Ryokan Koito is also home to a mini-gallery showcasing the work of Mitsuo Aida. Mitsuo Aida Calligrapher, Poet (1924-1991) While continuing to pursue his own original writings and his own words, he established a unique style while considering the honor of life, and created a great number of works.

Baths
Iwaki Yumoto Onsen boasts the highest output onsen in Japan, and has been used for more than 1,000 years. The hot spring is a colorless transparent sulfur spring, and the temperature at the source is 60C.

The water at our Ryokan is effective in the treatment of ailments of the elderly and feminine ailments. You can stay in the water for as long as you like at any time. Main Disorders Susceptible Chronic dermatitis, chronic feminine ailments, cuts & grazes, diabetes, arterial sclerosis in frail children, high blood pressure, etc.

Big Bath

You soap up and rinse outside of the tub because the hot water for soaking will be used by other guests in the ofuro bathing room. The purpose of the neck deep hot water pool is to have a good soak and to keep warm.

Japanese-style Rooms The floors of traditional Japanese rooms are covered by tatami mats which are made of straw. You should always take off your slippers when stepping on them.
